Questions of the applicants
Q. WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED?
A. The application should submit UC the following.
- Application form filled.
- Copy of secondary (higher) education certificate (10th & 12th certificate)
- Copy of birth certificate, copy of national passport.
- 22 passport size photos.
Q. HOW BECOME AN APPLICANT/STUDENT?
A. We will send your all required documents for admission to the university.
- You will receive the answer/conformation of admission from us.
- Apply for pass port if not ready.
- We will apply for entrance visa (JW202), then stamp your visa and do the emigration formalities.
- We will buy your air tickets, foreign exchange and inform Foreign Students Department about your arrival (the detail of your fright).
- To start classes(1st September or 1st October).
Q. Is there any entrance exam for the student prior to joining the university in the offered countries?
A. No. There are no entrances or pre-qualifying tests like PMT, CET, GRE, TOEFL OR IELTS etc. Admission given on the basis of marks obtained (12th std. and strictly on first come first admitted basis).
Q. Are the Medical Institutes / Universities offered by Universal Consultants recognized by the Medical Council of India?
A. Yes. The Institute/Universities offered by the Universal Consultants are recognized by the Medical Council of India (for screening test) and also UNESCO, World Health Orgnisation (WHO) etc. and hence the students can practice anywhere in the world on successfully obtaining his degree from these offered countries.
Q. What services are including in tuition and hostel fees?
A. The tuition and hostel fees are paid annually and all include hostel accommodation (in some cases), library facility study material and membership of recreation clubs (sports facilities), gymnasium, etc.
Q. What facilities are provided to the students?
A. For the period of training the student is provided accommodation in hostel where two/three students share a room. University provides access to the recreation club (sports facilities), gymnasium and internet etc.
Q. When do the students have vacations?
A. There are two types of vacations: summer vacation from 1st July to 1st September and winter vacation from two weeks.
Q. Would there be any problem of food/clothing?
A. No problem of food and clothing.
Q. What is the weather like in China? What kind of clothes should I bring?
A. Weather is moderate in China no extreme winter or summer average temperature is around 10°C. Universities are located in good cities where there are lots of departmental stores & international shopping malls. Price is very reasonable there.
Q. How to contact my parents, friends and relatives?
A: There are lot many Public telephones to contact with your parents, friends & relatives. Prepaid telephone cards are readily available and you can buy them from news agents, post offices and supermarkets. Universal recommend students to carry mobiles phones with them from India / students home country & use a prepaid card in it. In some cases, making your international calls using one of these cards could work out cheaper than using the main phone service provider.
Q. Can a student cook his own food if he decides not to eat in the mess?
A. Yes, the students can cook their own food at the common kitchen that is provided by the hostel on every floor. The kitchen is provided with hot plates/gas stove, cutting table, washing sinks, etc.
Q. Who will be accompanying the students from airport till he reaches to the university in China?
A. The representative of the university would be at the airport to receive the students. He would be at the Airport with a placard having the name of the students and will take the students to their University for the further processing and documentation including paying the fees directly to the university .Then he will take you to the hostel room allotted after official process is over. Sometimes your consultant will be there with you from India/your home country up to college/university.
Q. I really want to study in Chinese Medical College, But I can’t speak Chinese. Can I be instructed in English?
A. Yes, no problem. College posses a group of teachers who are experienced in educating international students. Most of them have studied or have been trained overseas for many years. They can communicate with you in English.
Q. How is the living standard in the cities where universities are located ? What about the canteens in the college?
A. The living expenses here is relatively very low, for example, about 40 to 80 US$/per month. depending on the city you select. There are several canteens in the college where you can choose the food as per your taste at subsidized rates.
